My name is Horacy Nucci Jr. and I’m passionate about everything related to gastronomy.
I’ve always been very curious and wanted to do and learn many things in my life, from the time I was single and then married, together with my wonderful wife.
I learned to fly planes, to scuba dive, I traveled a lot around Brazil and the world, I worked (and still work) in information technology for more years than I care to remember, I did The Way of St. James pilgrimage, but my passion for food has always been there, permeating every moment of my life.
Cooking has always been present in my life, from the time I spent with my mother in the kitchen; also when I was part of a scout group, where I even learned how to build a stove out of wood and clay; in my single days, living away from home, when food was more complicated, I was always learning about ingredients and ways of preparing them.
I was lucky enough to marry a beautiful cook and we did, and still do, many things together, learning and developing techniques and creating flavors. But best of all were the moments we spent together in this wonderful universe.
Today our beloved son loves sharing moments together in our kitchen.
One day, I decided to study gastronomy and it was one of the best decisions of my life.
My childhood passion turned into a vibrant hobby.
After a professional career in information technology, the call of the senses was stronger, leading me to a tasty transition into the world of gastronomy.
With a background full of experiences alongside wonderful Brazilian and international chefs, my academic degree in gastronomy is just the beginning of this exciting journey.
